Begin 2 Swim!
Begin2Swim provide swimming lessons for ages 3 months + & all abilities. Whether it's your child's first time in the water or looking to improve on skills, we have our qualified and friendly instructors to help them Begin 2 Swim!
The swim school is run by Paige who first started to teach swimming in 2011. Paige started to swim competitively from age 6 and swam for Bristol Central for many years. The desire to keep swimming was still there when she left school and started working as a Lifeguard, trained to be a swimming teacher and has taught ever since. Paige works within a team of experienced and friendly instructors all ASA or STA qualified., each with a lifeguard qualification or equivalent. All teachers are Enhanced DBS checked.
At Begin2Swim we believe swimming is one of the most important life skills. Our instructors teach from within the water and lessons are individual or in small groups. We feel this offers each child the attention needed to help them progress individually and to be safe in the water.
Pre-school/Daytime lessons & NEWLY ADDED PARENT/CHILD SESSIONS
At Begin2Swim we run morning and daytime sessions for pre-school/ homeschooled students.
Our lessons are adapted to every child and our teachers are in the water so we can give the best lessons possible! Parents do not need to get into the water and can watch and relax on poolside.
Our Morning/Daytime lessons are on a Monday -Friday at Glebe House and Tuesday afternoons in Oakhill. The lessons are private 1:1 or 2:1 sessions.
We help each individual to gain water confidence, teach them safety skills all in a fun, friendly environment. Please get in contact with us to book your trial session!
WE HAVE NOW ADDED PARENT/CHILD LESSONS
Friday @1130am we have our newly running parent/child Glebe House, BA3 5UD
These are ran by our wonderful experienced teacher Jackie who's passion is to teach children in a positive and structured way. With the classes involving toys, songs and some individual play too. These are £10 per session and we welcome all babies aged 3 months +.

Stages 1-6 & up to 200m can be achieved here.
Preschool lessons: Monday 9:30am-12:30pm
Tuesday 3pm
Thursday 2-3pm
Friday 1230am-1pm
Afterschool lessons Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Saturday 9am-12pm
Advanced 40 minute lessons: Mon, & Thurs 6:30pm - 7:10pm

Would recommend this to anyone looking for a little help before holiday. My 5 year old couldn’t quite swim so decided that a weeks intensive course would help before our hols. Anna was amazing, she was really patient but pushed him so that by the end he could swim. Our holiday was all the better as he could swim and was really confident in the water.
